Dock-to-Dock and Door-to-Door Visits

dock to dock visits

These are quick individual visits to distribute pertinent information on healthy shoreline living practices.

These visits are typically carried out by volunteers or students and require minimal training. They provide a great opportunity to raise awareness about environmental issues, engage waterfront property owners, and gain feedback on the need for more comprehensive programs such as a Home Visit or Workshop.

Dock-to-Dock or Door-to-Door visits also provide a good opportunity for organizations to promote their activities and raise membership. Typically this type of program does not support the time or expertise necessary to provide comprehensive recommendations to landowner concerns.

What Participants Say

"These two days were just excellent and certainly reinforced the importance of the door to door (personal) contact for the lake resident, we hope to continue with this program next year."
Susan O'Brien MacTaggart - President of the Greater Bobs and Crow Lakes Association
